Enigma Games is currently developing games for the Mac, PC, and Mobile gaming community. Due to the many innovative and novel aspects of our games, we would like to extend an open inventation to our beta testing cycles. We feel that having a more diverse and experienced testing pool will be very important to our games' success. Here are the three main functions to define the role of our beta testers.

1. Testing the functionality and aesthetics.
  • Do things work as you would expect them to?
  • Are all features easily accessible?
  • Does the screen flow properly from one feature to the next?
  • Is the interface awkward or intuitive?
  • Do you have any questions about the features that aren't answered within the game?

2. Testing stability and game play.

  • Can you easily crash the game?
  • Is the game play too slow, too fast or too unrealistic?
  • Are there things in the game that shouldn't be?
  • Are there things missing from the game that would enhance game play?

3. Testing the game as a whole.

  • Is the game balanced?
  • Is the game fun?
  • Are there any exploits or hacks that could damage the game for others?
  • Is the game too hard or easy to play?
  • Is the Role-playing aspect of the game boring or addictive?

Warnings and Disclaimers:

For all those who haven't participated in a Beta Test before, this will NOT be release-quality software. Anticipate many frustrating moments (for example, if a bug causes your character to disappear from the screen!). These moments are all bugs that need reporting, however, and you can take out your frustration by posting them on the Enigma Games Testing Community, which you'll be able to access as an official tester.
